Restigné is a peaceful and harmonious village of 1200 inhabitants that stretches between the Loire River and the hillsides over several hamlets in the middle of 500 hectares of Bourgueil AOC – controlled designation of origin – vineyards. Several wine growers will be pleased to present and have you try their production.

During a walk or a bike ride, you will discover many listed and classified buildings.

Along an 11-kilometre-long hiking path starting from the house, you will discover a setting whose views and atmospheres change over the day and the year.

Not far from the house, you can go and discover Candes-Saint-Martin and Montsoreau – these spots have been listed as “beautiful French villages” – and the cave village of Turquant, not to mention Crissay-sur-Manse, which is very well hidden in the region of Chinon.
